Ranger TCU location and telematics fuse

The 2019–2023 Ranger keeps its FordPass modem behind the glovebox and gives it a fuse of its own. Here's both, and how to shut it off without touching anything else.
Short answer
On a 2019–2023 Ranger, pull the fuse labeled Telematics or TCU in the passenger compartment fuse panel. If you’d rather unplug the module, it’s behind the passenger glovebox: remove the housing (3–4 screws) and disconnect its three connectors.
The fuse
- Open the passenger compartment fuse panel and remove its cover.
- Read the diagram inside the cover and find the fuse labeled Telematics or TCU.
- Pull it with the fuse puller or needle-nose pliers.
- Replace the cover. Open FordPass and wait for the truck to show offline.
Careful: confirm the label before pulling. The wrong fuse can take out the radio, airbag system, or body control module.
Unplugging the module
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal (10 mm) and wait five minutes.
- Remove the glovebox housing (3–4 screws).
- Photograph the three connectors: the main harness plug and the two coaxial antenna cables.
- Unscrew or pull the two coax connectors. Press the tab on the main harness plug and pull straight out.
- Leave the module in place, reinstall the glovebox, and reconnect the battery.
