How to pay with Bitcoin (even if you’ve never used it)
If you have Cash App, Venmo, PayPal, Coinbase, or Strike, you already have everything you need. Buy a little Bitcoin, scan the QR code on our checkout page, and hit send. It takes about five minutes.
Three rules that prevent 99% of problems
- Buy your Bitcoin first, then start checkout. The payment page has a countdown timer, so don’t let it run out while you’re buying.
- Pick the fastest send speed. Free “standard” or “flexible” speeds can delay your payment past the timer.
- Send the full amount shown, on the Bitcoin network. Buy a few dollars extra for fees, don’t use “Send max,” and never send Bitcoin Cash or tokens on other networks.
Pay with Cash App, step by step
- Buy Bitcoin in Cash App. Open Cash App, go to the Money tab, tap Bitcoin, then Buy. Buy the guide price plus about $5–10 extra to cover the network fee. If Cash App asks you to verify your identity (name, date of birth, last 4 of your SSN), finish that first. You can't send Bitcoin out until it's done.
- Start checkout on our site. Pick your guide, enter your email, and click Pay with Bitcoin. You'll land on a secure payment page at pay.removetrackingdevices.com showing a QR code, a Bitcoin address, the exact BTC amount, and a countdown timer.
- Scan the QR code with Cash App. On the Cash App home screen, tap the QR scanner in the top-left corner (or go to Bitcoin → Send) and point your camera at the QR code. Cash App usually fills in the address and amount for you. On the same phone? Tap Copy on the payment page and paste the address and amount into Cash App instead.
- Choose the fastest speed and send. Check the amount matches the invoice exactly, choose the fastest (paid) withdrawal speed, not the free one, then tap Confirm & Send and enter your PIN. The free speed can batch your payment and send it after the invoice timer runs out.
- Get your guide by email. The payment page detects your transaction within a minute or two. Once the Bitcoin network confirms it, usually 10–60 minutes, your download link is emailed automatically.
Cash App updates its menus often. If a button isn’t where we describe it, look for the Bitcoin section and a Send or scan icon.
Other easy ways to send Bitcoin
Venmo
- Tap Crypto, choose Bitcoin, and buy the price plus a few dollars for fees.
- Tap your Bitcoin balance, then Transfer → Send.
- Scan the QR code on our payment page (or paste the address).
- Enter the exact BTC amount, review, and tap Send.
Venmo requires identity verification before crypto transfers are enabled, which can take 24–48 hours for new accounts.
PayPal
- Open the Crypto section, choose Bitcoin, and buy.
- Tap Bitcoin, then Transfer (or Send) to an external address.
- Scan the QR code or paste the address.
- Enter the exact BTC amount, review, and confirm.
Make sure you pick Bitcoin, not PayPal USD or another coin.
Coinbase
- Buy Bitcoin (BTC).
- Tap Send, choose Bitcoin, and scan the QR code or paste the address.
- If asked for a network, choose Bitcoin.
- Enter the exact BTC amount and confirm.
Bitcoin bought with a bank transfer can be held for several days before you can send it. Buying with a debit card often avoids that hold.
Strike
- Buy Bitcoin.
- Tap Send and scan the QR code on our payment page.
- Choose the Priority delivery speed. Flexible is free but may not arrive before the invoice expires.
- Confirm the amount and send.
Strike charges a small on-chain fee for Priority and Standard speeds.
Already have your own wallet?
BlueWallet, Sparrow, Exodus, Muun, or a hardware wallet all work the same way: tap Send, scan the QR code, check the amount, choose a fast fee, and confirm.
Staying safe
- Only pay from the checkout page at pay.removetrackingdevices.com, which you reach by clicking Pay on one of our guides. Each order gets its own address.
- We will never email or text you a Bitcoin address to pay, or ask you to pay for anything over the phone.
- Bitcoin payments can’t be reversed. Double-check the amount before you confirm.
Payment questions
+Can I pay with Cash App?
Yes. Buy Bitcoin inside Cash App, start checkout on our site, then use Cash App's QR scanner to scan the payment QR code and send. Choose the fastest withdrawal speed so the payment arrives before the invoice timer runs out.
+What if I sent the wrong amount or the invoice expired?
Nothing is lost. Your payment still lands in our wallet, it just can't be matched automatically. Email removetrackingdevices@proton.me with the email you used at checkout and the invoice ID from the payment page, and we'll deliver your guide or sort out the difference by hand.
+How long does it take to get my guide?
Usually 10–60 minutes after you send. The payment page sees your transaction almost immediately, and the download link is emailed once the Bitcoin network confirms it.
+Do I need a Bitcoin wallet?
No. Cash App, Venmo, PayPal, Coinbase, and Strike can all send Bitcoin directly. If you already have your own wallet (BlueWallet, Sparrow, Exodus, a hardware wallet), scanning and sending works the same way.
+Can I pay over Lightning?
Not right now. Our checkout accepts regular on-chain Bitcoin only. Don't send Bitcoin Cash (BCH), wrapped Bitcoin, or Bitcoin on another network like Ethereum or Solana, because those payments can't be recovered.
+Why do you only take Bitcoin?
It fits what we do. There's no card number to leak and no card processor building a profile of your purchase. The app you buy Bitcoin with still keeps its own records, but we never see your card or bank details.
