Privacy Policy

The short version

We run a business about not being tracked, so we collect as little as possible ourselves. We don’t sell or rent your personal information to data brokers, insurers, or advertisers, and we don’t run advertising or analytics trackers on this site.

What we collect

• What you send us. Your email address, and whatever you include in the contact form or an email: your name, vehicle make/model/year, and your question. For the mobile service, we’ll also have the time and address where we meet you.
• Order information. The email address you enter at checkout and the vehicle you note, so we can send your guide.
• Server logs. Our host keeps standard web server logs, which include IP addresses and requested pages, for reliability and security.

What we don’t do

• No Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or third-party tracking scripts.
• No selling or sharing your data with insurers, data brokers, or marketers.
• No accounts or passwords, so there’s nothing of yours to breach.

Payments

Guides and deposits are paid in Bitcoin through our own BTCPay Server. We never see or store card or bank details. Bitcoin transactions are recorded on a public blockchain that we don’t control. The $400 service balance is paid on site in cash or Bitcoin.

Service providers

We use Resend to deliver order and contact emails, and Vercel to host this site. They process only what’s needed to deliver your email or serve these pages.

Retention

We keep purchase records as long as needed for support, refunds, and tax or accounting requirements, and delete other personal information on request.

Your rights

You can request a copy of, or deletion of, the personal information we hold about you by emailing removetrackingdevices@proton.me.
